BackForwardInstrument:  CoDICE

Instrument details
Acronym CoDICE
Full name Compact Dual Ion Composition Experiment
Purpose CoDICE-Lo measures the 3D Velocity Distribution Functions and ionic charge state and mass composition of ~0.5–80 keV/q ions. CoDICE-Hi measures the mass composition and arrival direction of ~0.03–5 MeV/nuc ions and also measures ~20–600 keV electrons.
Short description CoDICE-Lo is an Ion Spectrometer. CoDICE-Hi is an Energetic Particle Spectrometer. The low energy and high energy ions + electrons take different paths through the instrument.
