Programme description
  • Single-satellite operational programme, contributing to the Disaster Monitoring Constellation (DMC).
  • Chinese programme: NRSCC (National Remote Sensing Centre of China) responsible of development and operations.
  • The platform is actively stabilised over 3 axes.
  • The design life time is 5 years.
  • The satellite exploits the sunsynchronous orbit of the DMC around 10:30.
  • Redundancy is implemented by co-flying with several other similar satellites in the DMC.

  • Data stored onboard and transmitted to receiving stations of the DMC.
