  • Constellation of 8 satellites to monitor the thermal emission of the Earth's surface at high spatial resolution
  • The first satellite launched is a pathfinder HOTSAT-1 in a sun-synchronous orbit
  • Developed by UK based company Satellite Vu with funding from UKSA and SSTL
